Noise Pollution

Annoyance caused by noise is a major source of complaint to local environmental health offices according to research done by the Department of Health. Indeed, it is an undisputed fact that people are annoyed by a wide range of external noise events from neighbours partying into the night, ever increasing aircraft zooming overhead, traffic buzzing outside and so forth. But there is a way to stop outside noise annoying and disturbing you in your home or office.

We use a wide range of glasses which possess enhanced acoustic insulating properties to meet the ever increasing demands for noise control. In this way, we can customise the windows and solution for your particular needs and budget.

AudioScreen
Double glazing offers 24 to 25 decibels dba RTRA reduction. Our audioscreen windows of the same thickness can offer 36 decibels of sound reduction giving you twice the decibel reduction of regular double glazed windows. We can produce box sash windows with up to 40 decibels dba RTRA.

Laminated Glass
This is produced with either 2 or more pieces of glass with a PVB interlayer between each piece. This is available in many thicknesses depending on the configuration and application. From 6.4 - 57mm

Insulating Units
Either of the above glasses can be incorporated into a double glazed unit thus aiding noise control as well as gaining thermal insulation to reduce heat loss through conventional single glazing.
